The family of a minor who sustained severe wounds after getting pushed from the top floor of London's Tate Modern have revealed their "brave warrior" has achieved his goal of being able to jump, swim, and run anew.

The young youngster was six years old when he was thrown from a railing by a teenager, previously 17.

He, who was traveling with the parents in August 2019 when targeted, survived a 100ft fall but received significant injuries, like a brain hemorrhage and shattered bones.

Relatives shared in an news on a crowdfunding site, they were happy that he had been capable to improve with his running, jumping and swimming before his next operation.

"He can't do it like kids of his age, of course, but we cannot explain what he does in different terms than by calling it's running, jumping, and swimming."

"It's different, only over a short distance or a low level, but it's an amazing achievement."

The boy, who passed many months in intensive care, has continued to develop cognitive endurance.

His family said although his memory skills were yet highly constrained, they were effective and advancing, so he was "developing a basic understanding at his speed, which increasingly enables him to be involved with other children."

'Goal Achieved'

They added: "Additionally, he is maturing, and because of his sessions with the physical therapist, he now enables himself to unwind."

"Previously, to make up for his limitation on the left side, he maintained his right part constantly tense, which resulted in discomfort."

"Currently, our pre-teen (we have to accept reality, he's no longer a child now) has understood that he has to allow himself breaks; we must remind him less."

He also achieved a long-held aim with dad: "As we live a short distance from the ocean, they had established their final goal of taking a picnic at the beach and then coming back."

"After a number of progressive training sessions, they ultimately finished their 150-minute trip. They came back tired but overjoyed. Goal achieved."

After a trial at the Old Bailey, the adolescent was convicted of trying to kill and was jailed in 2020 for at least 15 years.
